Information: Dr. Brandy Pouliot, a native of New Hampshire, received undergraduate degrees in English and Communcation Sciences in Disorders from University of New Hampshire. In 2008, she earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Nova Southeastern University. She recently returned from an 18-month placement in Trinidad and Tobago, where she was one of two Doctors of Audiology in the country. While there, she assessed, diagnosed, and treated children and adults with Audiological disorders, developed protocols for Hearing Conservation Programs, performed occupational hearing screenings, lectured to private businesses and post-secondary students on various Audiological issues, and developed educational literature and participated in community outreach events for patients and public. During graduate school, she was fortunate to travel twice to both Guatemala and Trinidad and Tobago to assess and fit hearing instruments on hundreds of children. Dr. Pouliot enjoys building relationships with her patients and their families, and assisting to improve their quality of life through communication. Before receiving her doctorate, Dr. Pouliot worked as a librarian, speech-language therapist, and newborn hearing screener.
